While you will have many images of your life, these images will be the ones that you hang them on a wall or print (yes print) so family and friends can physically touch them as you remises through the memories. Heirloom portrait sessions are designed to capture your child exactly as they are in this fleeting stage of life — the moments you can never get back. What is the best age for heirloom portraits?
Heirloom portraits are best suited for children ages 9 months (once sitting independently) through 12 years. Many families choose to document this season annually, but some of the most treasured milestones are around one year, two years, five years, and eight years — when subtle changes feel especially meaningful.
What should my Child Wear
Wardrobe is intentionally simple to keep the focus on your child. Classic, timeless pieces photograph beautifully — think soft whites, creams, light blues, and subtle textures. Avoid bold patterns, logos, or anything overly trendy, as these can distract from your child’s natural features and date the image over time. After booking, you’ll receive a detailed wardrobe guide with curated suggestions to make this process effortless.
Each session includes a twenty minute session for one child. Each sibling should have their own session. After your session, you will receive five digital images delivered in both color and black & white. Additional heirloom artwork are available for purchase.
How do i book my session
To begin, simply submit an inquiry to reserve your date. Due to the intentionally limited number of sessions offered each month, availability is very limited.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your session, with the remaining balance due the week of your appointment.
